Left Hand Front Wing Top, Outer Wing and Headlamp Surround for 300TDI Land Rover Defender from 1994-1998
This piece will fit 1983 -1994 models, however it is worth noting the differences in sizes of the aperture for both the repeaters and side lights. On 1994 onwards the holes are slightly larger and are held in with the 2 square plastic nut inserts instead of self tapping screws straight into the wing itself. So if fitting to earlier models you just need 4x plastic nut inserts part number 79051
Wings were never available from Land Rover as a complete unit - the separate parts were available requiring with the time consuming job of bolting and assembling before fitment. This item is supplied pre-assembled - simply fit to your Defender.
These wings are aluminum just like the Genuine Land Rover and come finished in a black powder coating. This will require a light flat down with fine sandpaper, for example a 1200 grit, and will then be ready to color.
